Designed for Life in All Its Cycles

For Every Cycle of Life

What matters most to me about ANOTHERSEA is that it does not see our emotions as separate from everyday life. Our plans, dreams, habits, the places we live and the memories we gather are all connected. They are parts of the cycles that make us who we are.

The last day of a journey is the beginning of a new memory. Leaving one home can be the first step towards putting down roots somewhere else. A completed page makes room for another, still unwritten. And sometimes, the greatest changes in our lives begin with the smallest decision.

Through ANOTHERSEA, I want to create things that can accompany you through these cycles. I imagine this journey, beginning today with planners, growing into other designs, ideas and experiences tomorrow. But whatever I create, I want the thought behind it to remain the same: To care about how people feel. To value the small details of everyday life. And to make room for every new beginning.

Because I believe every season of our lives, in all its complexity and beauty, holds a meaning of its own. ANOTHERSEA exists to discover, preserve and accompany those meanings.

BEHIND THE SYMBOL

The Ouroboros of Everyday Life

A New Beginning in Every Ending

The Ouroboros is an ancient symbol represented by a serpent biting its own tail. It symbolises infinity, renewal, transformation and the unfolding cycles of life. For me, it holds a much more personal meaning.

Because I have always begun again where I thought I had ended. Throughout my life, I have searched for myself, followed my passions and sometimes found new beginnings where others saw an ending. Every ending opened a new page before me. Fresh. Blank. Still unwritten. ANOTHERSEA grew out of these transformations in my life.

There is another small detail hidden in the Ouroboros of my logo: a sideways lowercase “d”. The first letter of Deniz. In this way, the symbol carries both the endless cycle of life and the personal story behind the brand. A cycle and a signature. An ending and a beginning.

ANOTHERSEA reflects my belief that every season of life has meaning, and every new page holds a new possibility.

What a colour
makes you feel.

The first collection’s palette draws inspiration from the symbolic world of chakras. For me, each colour evokes a personal connection to a need and a part of life.

The red I chose for Home Notes connects the idea of home with the root chakra’s symbolism of grounding and belonging.

This is a personal, symbolic approach to design; it makes no claims about health or healing.

They offer a space to make your thoughts visible, whether for a journey, your home or everyday responsibilities. Explore each product’s contents and sample pages in its Etsy listing.

Will I receive a physical product?

No. The planners in this collection are digital downloads. Package contents, sizes and instructions are provided in each Etsy listing.

Can I use them on my phone or tablet?

The experience depends on the product and your PDF app. Check the relevant listing’s format and compatibility information before buying. The new city series is being designed with phones in mind; it is not yet available.

Do you offer lifestyle consulting?

Anothersea’s long-term direction is to offer personal approaches to life and planning, informed by experience. For now, our first step is the digital product collection; consulting appointments are not currently available.
